It's been over a year now

Wow its been over a year since I last blogged. Okay, I was jobless when I started blogging and I got a job like two days after and just couldn't get into the whole blogging thing.

A lot has happened in my life. I've Been married now for a little over six months, the wedding went really well. Kudos to my mama, she did an excellent job with the planning and stuff. She really took the wedding personal.

A day before our traditional wedding, I got bitten by an insect, and this stupid thing chose to bite me right under my right eye. I noticed my eye was itchy and all, so i put some allergy cream on it. I went to bed and woke up in d middle of the nite to go to the bathroom. I Decided to look in the mirror and I almost screamed when I saw my eye. It was so swollen. I started thinking about how I'll look in the pictures, and I started some serious prayer. My sister came out cos she heard me saying 'the devil is a liar' over and over again...She told me to put some more allergy cream and go to bed.

I woke up and the eye was even more swollen. I was like 'God why today of all day, why now?' I kept on praying and an idea came to me to put some ice on it. I finally did this while praying in the process and miraculously the swelling went down.
